T hey have immense capabilities, FL being easier to start with and learn, while Ableton asks for a bit more hard work. I've never tried a single one of them that didn't stop me in my tracks (no pun intended) while I found my way around. FL Studio and Ableton, are two market-leading DAWs right now. All daws/sequencers I've ever used, going way back to Vision in the late 80s for me, are overwhelming at first.
